Street theater is a perfect means of communication to popularize messages on the prevention of sexual violence in areas of violent conflict. Both young talents and professional artists is working with the Ngao Letu project team, composed of Genderforce and COMEN staff, to raise public awareness about the fight against the sexual and gender-based violence through the acting in these street theaters.
Women and men in the villages targeted by these activities have welcomed this activity, that they believe will contribute significantly to the reduction of incidents of rape but also the eradication of ignorance on the laws again sexual violence in DR Congo.
