Advisory Board Member – Mr Ilot Muthaka

Mr Muthaka holds a degree in sociology from Cepromad University. As Founder and Director of the Congo Men’s Network, he has worked closely with the rural and urban communities of North & South Kivus, Kinshasa and Ituri to conduct gender trainings for human and women’s rights organizations and activists.

He is actively engaged in creating awareness of different national and international instruments like the DRC law 06/07-06/July/2006, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), and Security Council Resolution 1325.

He presently works at RFSU Sweden (Swedish Association for Sexuality Education) where he works as International Program Manager and security advisor.
