Gry Tina TindeGry Tina Tinde from Norway is gender and diversity coordinator at IFRC since 2016. She chairs an IFRC Task Force on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and oversees the development of an IFRC PSEA policy. In 2018 she supports 15 Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies in developing and adopting their own PSEA policies, and will support 15 National Societies in 2019 and 2020 in doing the same.

She has served in two UN peacekeeping operations and her background covers protection from sexual and gender-based violence, Code of Conduct issues, refugee women’s livelihoods and fundraising, as well as election monitoring, social media campaigning, training, university lecturing and being UNHCR spokesperson. She was Diversity Advisor at the Inter-American Development Bank, Washington D.C., and Special Advisor on Gender Issues to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Geneva. Tina has a Master’s Degree in Anthropology and Journalism from the University of Montana, USA and Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, French and German Literature from the University of Oslo, Norway, and a Diploma from College of Europe, Bruges, Belgium.
