Advisory Board Member – Mr Edward FillerEdward Filler

Mr Edward Filler served 21 years in United States Army Infantry and Special Forces assignments throughout the Pacific, North Africa, Middle East and with combat tours in Afghanistan. This has included command of an Operational Detachment-A in Haiti, company commands in two Special Forces Groups and a Special Forces Forward Operating Base Director in Afghanistan. He has served more recently at NATO’s Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) where he was a Special Operations staff officer and helped to create NATO’s Special Operations Forces Training and Education Program.

As a Special Forces officer his career encompassed a wide range of cross-cultural assignments working with allies in foreign internal defense across the globe, both in peacetime and combat. Edward has been a guest speaker on assisting host nation militaries at the United Kingdom’s strategic discussion forum at Wilton Park as well as a speaker on counter-terrorism at Russia’s Combined Arms Academy in Moscow.

Edward is currently serving as a civilian for the NATO Special Operations Headquarters’ as its liaison to the United States Special Operations Command.
